Lip Tattoo

Aquarell Lips – Natural-looking, colored lip tattooing

The Aquarell Lips technique is an innovative lip tattooing procedure that delicately highlights the natural beauty of the lips while providing soft, watercolor-like coloring. This technique does not drastically change the shape or color of the lips, but creates a kind of “tinted lip balm” effect, ensuring a fresh and natural look for everyday wear.

I first learned this special technique from Tünde Méhn, and then further deepened my knowledge at two international trainer masterclasses. In addition, I participated in an international PMU conference in Budapest, where I developed my professional knowledge to an even higher level by applying the latest trends and techniques.

Why choose Aquarell Lips lip tattooing?

💋 Natural effect – Just like your own lips, only brighter and fresher
💧 Soft color transition – No sharp contours, just subtle, watercolor-like shading
💄 Long-lasting beauty – Always well-groomed and fresh appearance, even without makeup
🕊 Gentle technique – A more comfortable and less painful procedure

This lip tattoo is the perfect choice if you want your lips to always look naturally beautiful, moisturized, and fresh – without having to apply lipstick every day.

Important information before getting a lip tattoo

If you have already decided that you want to get a lip tattoo, all you have to do is contact me. During a preliminary consultation, we will talk about your ideas and the possibilities of their implementation. If the desired shape and color scheme are feasible, all you have to do is arrive at the previously agreed time.

What is important to know before making an appointment!

Exclusions/contraindications:

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding, epilepsy, feverish and infectious diseases, moles, warts, skin tumors in the area to be tattooed
  • Inflammatory or unknown skin symptoms in the area to be tattooed
  • Diabetics can get tattoos – wound healing may be a little slower
  • Alcoholic, drug addict
  • AIDS, HIV infected
  • Hepatitis
  • During cancer / radiation treatment, chemotherapy.
  • Taking blood thinners.
  • Autoimmune diseases.
  • Day 1-2 of menstruation, because on the one hand the pain threshold is much lower at this time, and on the other hand the body reacts differently to the tattoo, as a result of which the pigments will not remain 100%, so the desired result will not be achieved.

The lip tattoo is done in one sitting, taking before and after pictures so that the result can be seen afterwards. To determine the pigments and the color scheme of the applied pigments in advance, I definitely recommend bringing the desired lipstick or lip balm with you, or showing it to me in the form of a picture. However, it is important to know that the applied pigments and your own pigments mix with each other, so the final color will be formed later.

During the design, we draw the desired lip shape in advance to make it as symmetrical and full as possible. After checking and measuring, I make small adjustments to make the result even more perfect. Once we are ready, with your approval, anesthesia can begin, followed by the creation of perfect lips.

Healing of lip tattoos

After a lip tattoo, all you have to do is rest and care for your lips, and follow the aftercare instructions. This is essential to achieve the most beautiful and desirable results in the long term. The aftercare stick should be used several times a day for at least 10-14 days to prevent your lips from drying out and to allow the pigments to settle as deeply as possible. Most importantly, your lips should not be exposed to water for 2 weeks, and the freshly tattooed skin should not be exposed to UV radiation. It is essential to protect them from mechanical damage, and do not rub or scratch them!

The color of your lips will change every day, but don’t worry, this is a natural part of the healing process. It takes 1-1.5 months for complete healing, and after 4-6 weeks the final color will appear on your lips.

It may happen that your lip tattoo needs correction, but this is also natural, just as no two organisms are the same, so there are no two identical processing and healing processes. Corrections can be made 1 month after the makeup tattoo, but a maximum of 3 months later. At this time, we can correct the color, as well as certain areas where the pigments have not been incorporated as well.

Why do I recommend lip tattooing?

Durability: Lip tattoos are more durable than traditional lip makeup. You don’t have to worry about your lips smudging or having to reapply your makeup throughout the day.

Time-saving: Lip tattoos are permanent, so you don’t have to spend time applying lipstick every day to properly shape and color your lips.

Versatility: It allows you to customize the colors and shapes to your facial features and personal style. This means that the tattoo can usually perfectly match your personal taste and style. Plus, once the shape is ready, it’s very easy to fill in with any color in a matter of minutes if you’d rather wear a different color occasionally.

Effective: It can help improve the line and depth of your lips.

Comfortable: Lip tattooing does not cause irritation or allergic reactions that traditional lip makeup can cause. Lip tattooing generally has no side effects.

Confidence: Improves self-confidence, especially for those with thin or asymmetrical lips.

However, it is important to note that lip tattooing is a long-term decision that should be made carefully. Before deciding on lip tattooing, it is recommended that you consult with me or another professional. I like to inform my guests about all important details, and in such cases, discuss the selected color at the same time.
